Not having time for this myself, I commend the people that do have time to try this one out. Expectations are high on a game that utilises this jewel of intellectual property, and I don't think they'd release it on this scale if it wasn't any good.

thanks!

A well written review for anyone that's interested.

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?search=yes&keyword=&id=161846

My personal opinion so far:

A very fun and enjoyable game. Haven't seen alot of bugs around (unless you use Vista, but oh well, what does work with Vista )
There are some balancing issues though, some things are a bit too expensive like repairing items and traveling, but they say the dev team is going to adress that soon.

Lots of interesting places to see, and so far the community seems to be nice.

Hi,
Currently i am playing Vanguard. But i am VERY interested in LOTRO.
I think i will get me a Buddy Code somewhere and test it.
Maybe i change from VG to LOTRO.
I LOVE the Lord of the Rings Book (the Movie isn't bad either).

Most likely i will play a Dwarf.
I have no sig.

I'm very curious about this, still enjoy WoW but for the community I'm in more than anything, and seeing a new place would be fun. This seems very nice.. *ponders*

OK... i play LotrO for a few Days now. Its a very nice Game in my Opinion and i think i stay there now.

- I haven't encountered any Bugs so far.
- It rund quite well on my PC
- It doesn't crashed so far (in Vanguard, i had to restart the game aprox. every 2 Hours)
- The graphics are nice (WoW doesnt fit my taste... too comic Style in my Opinion)
- IT's NOT SOE (a very big Plus Point if you ask me...)
- Lots of Emotes.... YOU CAN SMOKE and DRINK BEER....

Currently i play a Dwarf on the german RP-Server Belegaer.
I have no sig.

I'm in the same Kinship (kinship is guilds in lotro) as Gaera and I'm really enjoying the game and the kinship :)
