Warhammer 40K Roleplaying.

'Nuff Said really.

It's awesome. The art is as good as you've come to expect and I really cant wait to get a game of this going sometime. The book is quite reasonably priced for the size of it, I feel.

Grab a copy before they are all gone (once the stock that's already in the distribution channels is gone, it's gone, no more reprints).

I downloaded the free beginner scenario and I am actually planning on draging a couple of friends through it... :D
If it's really fun then I might buy the book as well (assuming you can still get hold of it at that time... )

The God-Emperor wills it!

Did you find that the starter-level PCs were utterly useless at just about everything? :-)

Seems to be a common complaint on various forums.

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only... oops, fail.

Haha... Well, one of them was really unlucky...

*** SPOILER ***
The guy who played Ishmael wasted almost all of his fatepoints getting across one of the chasms... Except the last one ... That rescued him from mutating because of the Antithesis stone :D
*** SPOILER END ***

I guess it goes with the scenario that they're supposed to be wet behind the ears, but still... There should be a limit to ho useless you can be. But the "feel" and ideas behind the different characters where cool

Yeah, the fluff is tremendous. It really is a lot darker than 40K had been heading in recent editions. Everywhere you turn there is a heresy, a mutant, a murderous psychopath or the taint of chaotic corruption. The inherent dangers of playing a psyker seem very cool also (oops, did I just summon THAT?).

WHile it would be nice to play an enlisted Guardsman, an ELdar warlock or even a Ratling sniper sometime (and maybe sourcebooks will allow just that) the setup of the PCs being the elite secret agents of an Inquisitor is also very very cool.

*sigh*

I want to run/play this now...
