And don't forget Blizzard isn't the real Blizzard anymore since they joined with Activision/Vivendi.
But then again its to debate who took over whom. Maybe they are even stronger now? I only
fear they will go the sad way of so many other great names in the Game industry. Slowly declining
till they are only a name for certain Games and then totaly fading.

Well it wasn't FOX who bought them so as long as they keep gushing cash I hope they will get to keep going about their business as usual: Quality games released when they are ready.

With SC2 and DIII rolling out in the coming years we will be able to follow them closely. Interesting question though, what will they make afterwards? Obviously there will be expansion packs for both but then what? A sequel to WoW? Or the legendary WHOA? ;)

To be honest i'm a little bit worried that they are suddenly releasing new versions of their old
games after so many years of neglect. How long has it been that player wished for an
add-on for Starcraft? Or DiabloII? Blizzard could have made a gigantic sum just by releasing
small additions to these great games. But what did we got? Nothing. And now suddenly
they'll release 2! Sequels? Just after joining with the moneyhungry Activision? Somehow that
seems to be too much of a coincidence to be true.
Well, time will tell, but as i said, i fear we have another big name (one of the last ones) going
down the moneydrain.

No doubt both games were already in development at the time of the announcement of the intended merger (note that Activision has not bought Blizzard but will merge with Vivendi Games of which Blizzard is/was a division). Looking at the list of Blizzard game releases then maybe it has been a while since they released anything in those two franchises but hey... They have been kinda preoccupied with WoW since at least 2001 (announced), probably as early as 1999-2000. Warcraft III releases in 2002 and 2003. Also Blizzard North was shut down in 2005. All in all I don't find it suspicious although it is about bloody time! ;)

In my opinion the thing to worry about is whether Blizzard will be forced to release their titles early (and unfinished) to meet a corporate release date rather than follow their highly successful "when ready" strategy.
